People don’t make things the way they used to. It’s always said, right? And why don’t we make things the way they used to? I think things that are going to be in your home should be well made.

When I see a house that is just filled with Ikea furniture, it just makes it feel like it’s a temporary place, that these people are living, not like, they’re living there for now, but they’re not looking to live there and, I don’t know, to have these things for a long time. They must not really like them and they bought them on a whim.

Power tool warning: lots of random orbital sander action, but there is footage of Patrick using a ryoba.
